About Rock in Rio

Rock in Rio is the biggest music and entertainment event of all time, already in its ninth edition in Brazil, Portugal and Spain, and which has attracted over 6.5 million people.

Since the Portuguese edition in 2006 the organisation has decided that environmental issues are urgent and has implemented various initiatives on Climate Change and Sustainability.

Over the last 12 years, Rock in Rio has generated 12,849,604.43 euros for various social and environmental causes. This is proof that decisiveness and commitment to small actions in our everyday lives can make the world a better place for everyone.
