Initially the service is available for the Sony SmartWatch 3 which, as well as a display for viewing TV channels, can be used instead of the TV remote control or as an innovative voice command device. It can also be used to consult the TV guide or the video club’s catalogue of films at no additional cost.
The Vodafone TV appfor smartwatch, which must be installed to use the service, is now available on Google Play, and there are plans to launch it shortly for other smartwatches such as the Apple Watch.
The Sony SmartWatch 3 is available in Vodafone shops for €199.90, or free as part of a campaign for new subscribers to Tv Net Voz packages with two associated mobile numbers.
